Description
The Catalyst for Discovery Program Grants, offered by The Welch Foundation, are designed to accelerate progress in fundamental chemical research at Texas institutions. Each year, up to two highly competitive proposals are selected to receive up to $5 million each over five years. The program emphasizes support for ambitious, collaborative research addressing significant challenges at the forefront of chemistry, including allied fields such as biochemistry, chemical biology, chemical physics, chemical engineering, materials science, and nanoscience. Administrative burden is minimized, and funding is structured to provide maximum flexibility for experimentation.
