Description
The Cathleen A. Baker Scholarship, offered by Rare Book School, provides a full tuition waiver for one RBS course to individuals who identify as full-time independent scholars or researchers. The scholarship is designed to expand access to advanced training in bibliography, book history, and the material study of texts, especially for those working outside traditional academic or GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives, museums) positions. The award is applied as a tuition credit for one eligible Rare Book School course, which may be taken in person at the University of Virginia or a partner site, or in an approved online format.
