Description
The California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) Conference Awards fund events designed to stimulate ideas, foster research, and encourage collaboration specific to breast cancer, with a particular emphasis on California resources and communities. Two award types are offered: the Standard Conference Award (open to all eligible applicants) and the Community-Led Conference Award (targeted to grassroots organizations needing additional support and feedback). Events may take various formats, such as symposia, webinars, retreats, or roundtable discussions, and must have at least one major objective focused on breast cancer, with at least half of the event dedicated to this topic. Preference is given to gatherings that unite diverse perspectives and are likely to generate new research initiatives or collaborations.
