Description

The CCCC Technical and Scientific Communication Awards are offered by the National Council of Teachers of English and administered by the Conference on College Composition and Communication. They honor authors and editors for outstanding published scholarship in technical and scientific communication, rather than funding new research projects. The competition recognizes books, original essay collections, and articles addressing empirical research, historical research or textual studies, philosophy or theory, and pedagogy or curriculum.

Past recipients have explored Indigenous translation and interpretation, community-engaged social justice, technology-mediated communication, accessible syllabus design, environmental communication, and communication in health and medical settings. The awards recognize excellence across these varied approaches to the field.
