The CCCC Writing Program of Excellence Award honors postsecondary writing programs that exemplify ongoing improvement, innovation, and outstanding practices in writing instruction. Established in 2004 by the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), the award celebrates programs that creatively address the needs of their students and faculty, provide robust professional development, and demonstrate a sustained commitment to diversity, assessment, and effective pedagogy. Recipients are recognized in CCCC and NCTE publications, on the CCCC website, and at the CCCC Annual Convention.
