The Network seeks basic research into CCHS biology, translational development of innovative technologies or treatment modalities, and human studies involving the CCHS population. Clinical, technological, and epidemiological research are also within scope.

Priorities include the biology of central and peripheral respiratory mechanisms, translating basic findings into potential treatments, and healthcare improvements with real-world benefits for quality of life.
