Key Information: Closed call for the CEGA Network, requiring teams with at least one CEGA fellow and one CEGA affiliate.
The Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA), through its Global Networks program, supports policy- and programmatically relevant impact evaluations in East and West Africa. Studies must use rigorous designs capable of identifying causal effects and demonstrate that the intervention and research can be implemented successfully. Priority may be given to extensions of CEGA-funded pilot grants.
The competition prioritizes important, innovative questions with relevance both to the broader evidence base and to the study’s local context. CEGA particularly encourages collaboration with government agencies, policymakers, implementing organizations, and other users of evidence. These partnerships should address concrete needs, connect research to partner priorities, and extend beyond implementation to promote evidence use and strengthen institutional capacity. Proposals should demonstrate well-developed interventions and committed partners with the capacity to deliver them.
