Description
The CEL Teacher-Leader of Excellence Award honors classroom educators who are members of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and demonstrate exemplary leadership in literacy both inside and outside their classrooms. Recipients are recognized for amplifying student voices, making a significant impact on classroom literacy, and contributing meaningfully to the broader educational community by generating positive changes in literacy instruction, programming, or systems.
