Description
Celebrate Education Grants help teachers obtain resources for educational opportunities in Oshkosh-area public and parochial schools. The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation runs the program in partnership with Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis and the Oshkosh Area School District Education Foundation. Its purpose is to foster educational excellence through projects that enrich students’ educational experiences, motivate or inspire them, meet a specific need, demonstrate a sense of community, and are fun for children.
The program prioritizes reasonable, cost-effective projects with measurable outcomes and clearly stated objectives and methods. Activities must be appropriate and approved for school use. Two grants are specifically available to history and social studies teachers for local and state history projects or programs.
