Description
The Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard Kennedy School runs the Visiting Researcher Program for PhD and postdoctoral researchers. Participants pursue their own research in residence for a semester or a year while joining CID’s close-knit research community. The program aims to build relationships among early-stage researchers, spark innovative ideas, and support research with a significant impact on economic development.
Fellows have opportunities to attend community events, seminars, and meetings, discuss their work, exchange ideas and best practices, and connect with the broader CID and Harvard communities. With sponsorship from UniCredit Foundation, the program brings researchers from UniCredit Bank’s European network to CID. Recent fellows have studied education, socioeconomic mobility, gender inequality, mental health, and youth labor-market outcomes.
