Description
The Center for Italian Studies at the University of Notre Dame supports scholarship on Italy’s languages, cultures, and peoples across academic disciplines. Its funding opportunities encompass undergraduate research, internships, and language study, as well as graduate education, postdoctoral research, specialized training, and career support. Research opportunities include work in Italy and access to Italian collections at Notre Dame.
The Center also welcomes co-sponsorship proposals for academic events, educational initiatives, and research projects promoting Italian culture, language, and scholarship. Support can include bringing lecturers to campus, contributing to academic program costs, and publicizing initiatives.
