Description
New York University’s Center for the Humanities offers Faculty Research Fellowships to full-time NYU faculty in humanities and art disciplines. The program provides a year-long residency within the University community in New York, bringing scholarly research into a setting of regular exchange and participation in the Center’s activities.
The disciplinary scope includes history, art history, music, philosophy, cultural studies, literary and language studies, religious studies, drama and performance studies, cinema studies, and gender studies, but is not limited to these fields. Weekly meetings provide opportunities for fellows to discuss their work in progress and that of invited guests, connecting individual research with the wider scholarly life of the University.
