Description
New York University’s Center for the Humanities sponsors Working Groups, formerly known as Research Collaboratives, to build community and foster interdisciplinary exchange around topics with a humanistic focus. The program supports carefully planned series of meetings that bring NYU faculty and graduate students together around a focused humanities topic, particularly one for which interdisciplinary approaches are likely to be fruitful.
These sustained conversations are intended to provide a foundation for further humanities work. The Center expects Working Groups to generate new curricular offerings, publications, conferences, or collaborative faculty projects, connecting shared intellectual interests with the development of teaching, scholarship, and collective projects at NYU.
