Description
The W. Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics (CAE) graduate fellowship supports research-based graduate students across UBC campuses conducting applied ethics research. It fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, dialogue among students and faculty, peer networks, and mentorship. Fellows can also engage with external scholars through the Centre’s Visiting Scholars program.
Relevant topics include bioethics, business ethics, organizational and professional ethics, environmental ethics, public and global health ethics, technology ethics, legal ethics, research ethics, social justice, human rights, truth and reconciliation, and health inequities. These examples are not exhaustive. Alongside financial support, the fellowship provides space and opportunities to develop research within the CAE community.
