Description
The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine’s CERA Fellowship provides one family medicine faculty member with a yearlong, part-time experience alongside the CERA Steering Committee. The program offers mentorship and training to build a foundation for future scholarly leadership in family medicine.
The fellow learns to understand and describe the CERA survey process, implement valid survey methodology, and write hypothesis-driven survey questions. Scholarly activities include authoring presentations or publications using CERA data and learning to mentor other faculty in proposal writing and research methodology. Working with an established mentor, the fellow also supports a research group and participates in CERA proposal and paper review activities.
