Description
The Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office, part of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, offers Mini-Grants through its Certified Local Government (CLG) Grant Program. They help participating communities respond to preservation needs that arise outside annual grant cycles and build the capacity to administer local preservation programs.
Mini-Grants support focused studies, plans, programs, and tools that can address a need quickly. Eligible activities include planning and ordinances, design guidelines, historic property surveys and inventories, National Register nominations and determinations of eligibility, revitalization or reuse studies and plans, public education, and design assistance. Other project types may be considered if they do not involve construction.
