Description
The Certified Local Governments (CLG) program, administered by History Nebraska in partnership with the National Park Service, is designed to empower Nebraska’s local governments to preserve, protect, and promote their unique historic resources. The program provides technical assistance, training, and annual matching grants to support a wide range of preservation activities, including public outreach, education, preservation planning, and rehabilitation of publicly owned historic properties. Participation as a CLG enables communities to access resources that foster economic development, downtown revitalization, and heritage tourism.
