    Description

The Constable Ethics Standards and Training Board (CESTB) offers Cycle IX Organizational Firearms Training funding through its FY2027 competitive equipment and training grant program. Supported by the Constable Ethics Standards and Training Fund established under A.R.S. §22-138, this opportunity will fund one organizational training project in Arizona.

The program supports educational training that helps constables meet mandated training requirements and strengthens their capacity to perform statutory duties. This cycle focuses on AZPOST-approved firearms qualification training for elected or appointed Arizona constables and deputy constables who are not AZPOST-certified law enforcement officers. Projects must provide at least 40 hours of training and offer access to eligible participants from counties that have established and deposited writ fees into the fund.
