The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan’s Vision and Community Grants replace its Community Impact Grant program serving Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, and Presque Isle Counties. The two opportunities allow the foundation to invest in larger, promising ideas while continuing to support smaller needs that matter to local communities.
Vision Grants support new, innovative, or expanding projects that reach more people, expand access, improve service delivery, or respond to community needs. Mental Health, Environment, Childcare, and Food & Nutrition receive greater consideration, though strong proposals outside these priorities are considered. Vision Grants are not intended to sustain existing programs. Community Grants support a broad range of needs, including one-time events, equipment and other purchases, project startup, and specific expenses within existing programs.
