Description
The Chair’s Memorial Scholarship, established by the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) Executive Committee, honors past Chairs of CCCC by supporting the next generation of scholars in composition studies. The scholarship provides $750 each to four graduate students who are presenting at the annual CCCC convention and who exhibit scholarly promise and merit. The award is designed to help offset the costs of attending the conference and to recognize research that thoughtfully engages ongoing issues in rhetoric and composition, demonstrates methodological innovation, and shows significant potential impact on teaching, research, theory, and practice within the discipline.
