Description
The Challenge Scholars Dream Fund, administered by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation, provides funding for innovative, student-centered projects that enrich the educational and community experiences of Union High School students and graduates from the classes of 2020–2028. The fund encourages a broad range of applicants—including students, parents, teachers, school staff, and community partners—to propose initiatives that foster community engagement, leadership, and pride among Challenge Scholars. Past projects have included civil rights education, creative expression, academic success programs, cultural celebrations, and neighborhood engagement activities, all with the aim of strengthening relationships, supporting transitions, and promoting high-quality learning experiences for eligible students.
