Presenter Consortium for Jazz, administered by Chamber Music America (CMA), supports partnerships among U.S.-based presenters engaging one to three jazz ensembles for in-person concerts or livestreamed performances. Each presenter brings every participating ensemble to its respective audience. The program is a component of the Doris Duke Jazz Ensembles Project, funded by The Doris Duke Foundation.
CMA prioritizes community impact: increasing access to jazz chamber music, fostering respect and appreciation for the art form, and connecting ensembles and presenters with current and new audiences. Projects may highlight a community’s cultural richness and creativity, foster collaboration with community organizations, or reach audiences underserved or underrepresented by existing programs. Performances must be public, accessible, and inclusive.
