    Description

The Changemakers Retreat is an intensive, four-day, in-person leadership development program designed for current and aspiring changemakers and boundary-spanners in higher education. Hosted annually by Campus Compact, the retreat brings together faculty and staff from member institutions to engage in interactive workshops, peer coaching, equity-centered community building, and goal-setting activities. The curriculum focuses on three key themes: developing an identity as a community engagement professional, practicing place-based leadership, and fostering effective community building. Participants gain practical tools, dedicated time for reflection, and opportunities to form lasting professional connections, all aimed at advancing civic and community engagement at their institutions.
