Description
The American Musicological Society’s Chapter Activities Fund provides partial support for events, activities, and programs organized by its chapters. The fund supplements other funding for chapter-specific programming rather than serving as the sole source of support. Awards are made twice a year through winter and summer cycles.
Supported expenses include speaker fees, venue costs, travel, lodging, supplies, and direct program costs such as audiovisual services, equipment, and catering. The fund helps chapters meet both programming expenses and the practical costs of hosting events. Requests that do not clearly fit these expense categories are considered by the Committee on a case-by-case basis.
