The Chapter Activities Fund offers semi-annual grants to AMS chapters to help defray eligible expenses associated with organizing chapter events and programs. The fund is designed to supplement, not fully cover, costs such as speaker fees, venue rental, travel, lodging, supplies, and direct program expenses (including A/V, equipment, and catering). Chapters must provide an itemized budget and demonstrate that the requested funds constitute no more than half of the total project or event costs. Applications are evaluated for alignment with the Society's mission and must be submitted in advance of the intended use of funds.
