Description
The Charles D. Gonthier Research Fellowship is awarded annually in partnership with the University of British Columbia - Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice (CIAJ). This fellowship supports research projects that address the theme of CIAJ’s annual conference, encouraging innovative scholarship that advances the administration of justice in Canada. Recipients are expected to present their completed research at the CIAJ annual conference and may have the opportunity to publish their findings in the conference proceedings or a reputable scholarly journal. The fellowship is named in honor of the late Honourable Charles D. Gonthier, former Supreme Court of Canada Justice and past CIAJ President.
