Description
The Charles Wallace India Trust funds one Visiting Research Fellowship each year at the University of Edinburgh. Hosted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH), in association with the Centre for South Asian Studies, the fellowship supports a three-month research visit in the arts and humanities. Social science topics fall outside this fellowship’s remit.
The visit provides time for sustained research and close work with colleagues at a centre dedicated to scholarship in and on South Asia. Fellows join an international scholarly community through work-in-progress seminars, weekly lunches, and Institute and College events. Dedicated office space, University email and library access support their research, with access to archival and online collections arranged as appropriate.
