The fellowship, offered by the Society for Neuroscience in partnership with the Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute, is designed to foster the next generation of science communicators in neuroscience. It is available exclusively to recipients of the Trainee Professional Development Award (TPDA) who demonstrate a passion for science communication. Fellows are expected to summarize and highlight key discussions and research presented at major neuroscience meetings (such as Neuroscience 2026), with their meeting reports published by the Chen Institute. In addition to recognition, fellows receive mentoring in writing, networking, and publishing.
