Summary: The Chesapeake Bay Trust seeks a consultant to plan, facilitate, and document a community charrette on nature-based stormwater solutions in Bridgeville, Delaware.
Key Information: This is a contractual services RFP; entities must provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) before contracting.
The Chesapeake Bay Trust administers this contractual services opportunity through Storm Smart Chesapeake, with funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 3, under CFDA No. 66.964. The selected consultant will plan, facilitate, and document a community charrette for the Town of Bridgeville, Delaware, supporting stormwater and watershed planning and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement.
The work builds on Bridgeville’s 2024 Master Stormwater and Drainage Study and infrastructure inventory. It will help residents, municipal leaders, and technical partners identify and prioritize sustainable, nature-based stormwater solutions. Focus areas include the Bridgeville Branch corridor, historic downtown, older residential neighborhoods, and locations experiencing flooding, drainage, erosion, or water-quality concerns. Results will inform the town’s Comprehensive Plan update, capital planning, hazard preparedness, and future funding requests.
