This two-year fellowship, funded by the APA Foundation, is designed to cultivate the interest of general psychiatry residents in child and adolescent psychiatry. The program provides structured mentorship from senior child and adolescent psychiatrists, sponsorship to attend a minimum of four APA meetings (including two Annual Meetings and two Fellowship Forums), and opportunities to participate in scientific sessions, develop leadership skills, and actively engage in APA/APAF councils, committees, and publications. One fellow per cohort may serve as a non-voting member of the APA Foundation Board of Directors.
