Description
The AMS Sectional Meetings Child Care Grant provides reimbursement of up to $125 per family to support child care expenses for parents attending AMS sectional meetings. The goal is to make it easier for parents to participate fully in these academic events, whether the child care is arranged at the meeting site or at home. Recipients are responsible for arranging their own child care, as the AMS neither provides nor recommends child care services. The grant is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to one per family per season (Spring or Fall). Applicants are notified of the outcome approximately three weeks after the application deadline.
