Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Childhood Lead Program funds services for children whose blood lead levels are at or above the blood lead reference value. Through its Division of Local Public Health, the program supports blood lead screening, nurse case management, and environmental investigations conducted in accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:51. These services connect a child’s health needs with the investigation of potential lead hazards in their surroundings.
