This award recognizes exceptional community-based programs that apply child psychoanalytic principles to support the emotional and social development of children and families. The aim is to highlight and reward organizations that have successfully integrated psychoanalytic developmental approaches into their direct services, making a significant impact as valued resources in their communities. Sponsored by the Council Committee on Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis (COCAP) of the American Psychoanalytic Association, the award is presented annually at the Association's National Meeting.
