Description
The Choose Henry Fund-Community Grants program is administered by the Henry County Community Foundation to address broad community needs in Henry County, Indiana. It supports nonprofit organizations serving the county through two grant cycles each year, in spring and fall. Support spans health and medical services, social services, education, cultural affairs, and civic affairs.
Supported work includes hospitals and rehabilitation centers, safety and wellness programs, recreation, services for children and older people, and education from preschool through postsecondary levels. Cultural funding supports programs and facilities that expand opportunities for participation and appreciation. Civic support includes criminal justice, community development, employment, citizen involvement, and leadership training. Donor-created funds also support particular purposes, programs, or institutions, including local charitable organizations and community parks departments.
