Description
The Choose Ohio First FY27 RFP is Ohio’s flagship STEM scholarship initiative, administered by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The program aims to increase the number of students enrolling in and completing STEM degrees and credentials, including both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as for-credit certificates. Funded proposals must include robust work-based learning opportunities for scholarship recipients, such as internships, co-ops, or laboratory research, to promote permanent employment in Ohio. Proposals that align with regional economic needs and connect students with Ohio employers in high-demand or high-wage sectors are prioritized.
