Description
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Fellowship supported highly qualified trainees conducting research in all areas of health research, in Canada or abroad. Its goals were to recognize and fund academic health research trainees and help develop a supply of skilled researchers. Applicants were expected to address sex and gender in their research.
UBC Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies lists the award but identifies its Fellowship information as belonging to a previous competition. CIHR announced that the program would be folded into the Canada Research Training Awards Suite effective with the fall 2025 competition.
