Description
The CIRN Intesa Sanpaolo Visiting Fellowship offers an outstanding early career postdoctoral scholar working on Italy an opportunity to spend one term at Cambridge. Hosted by CRASSH and supported by the Cambridge Intesa Sanpaolo Fund for Italian, the Cambridge Italian Research Network (CIRN), and CRASSH, it combines independent research with interdisciplinary exchange. The stated theme for the 2026/27 fellowship is “Italian Ecologies”.
The Fellow develops an individual research project linked to the theme and conceives and organises a one-day interdisciplinary, cross-period colloquium. Chronologically wide-ranging colloquium proposals are encouraged. Fellows participate in the CRASSH research community, including weekly Fellows’ seminars, and are encouraged to build connections with Cambridge researchers and CIRN members. The CIRN committee and CRASSH administrators support colloquium organisation.
