Description
This rebate program, a partnership between the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the City of Annapolis, aims to accelerate the transition from gas-powered to electric leaf blowers within the incorporated City limits. The initiative supports improved air quality and reduced noise pollution by incentivizing the purchase of electric leaf blowers emitting 65 decibels or less. The program is open to residents, renters, nonprofits, homeowner associations, and landscape/lawncare businesses either located in or working within Annapolis. Only one rebate per eligible entity is allowed, and the program is designed to promote healthier, quieter, and more environmentally friendly landscaping practices.
