Description
The City of Gaithersburg RainScapes Reward Program, administered by the Chesapeake Bay Trust in partnership with the City of Gaithersburg, offers financial incentives to property owners to install stormwater management practices. The program aims to reduce stormwater runoff, decrease pollution, and enhance the health of local streams and rivers by encouraging the adoption of environmentally sensitive landscaping and infrastructure. Eligible practices include rain barrels, cisterns, rain gardens, conservation landscaping, tree canopy planting and invasive tree removal, pavement removal, permeable pavers, and soil testing.
