Description
The City of Gaithersburg RainScapes Reward Program, in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Trust, provides financial incentives (rebates) to property owners, nonprofits, and eligible organizations for the installation of approved stormwater management practices. The program aims to enhance water quality, reduce local pollution, and improve the health of streams and rivers within the City of Gaithersburg by encouraging the adoption of environmentally beneficial projects such as rain barrels, cisterns, rain gardens, conservation landscaping, tree canopy enhancements, pavement removal, permeable pavers, and soil tests.
