Description
The C.J. Alexopoulos Prize is an annual award presented by the Mycological Society of America to an outstanding early-career mycologist. The prize recognizes individuals primarily for the quality, originality, and quantity of their published work in mycology. Administered by the MSA Distinctions Committee, the award consists of a plaque and a monetary prize, and is presented during the society’s annual meeting. The recipient's achievements are also highlighted in the meeting program and in the society’s publication, Inoculum.
