The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), in partnership with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, administers this continuation grant program to support Georgia’s Labor Trafficking Task Force and related multidisciplinary efforts. Funding aims to sustain and expand existing capacity to identify, investigate, and prosecute labor trafficking cases while strengthening victim-centered services statewide.
Supported work includes continued staffing for investigators, analysts, coordinators, and prosecutors; maintenance and enhancement of Georgia’s Human Trafficking Data Clearinghouse; expanded outreach and advocacy through nonprofit and legal partners; and training and technical assistance for law enforcement, service providers, and community stakeholders. The program prioritizes preserving infrastructure and best practices developed through earlier foundation investments and expanding collaboration among state, federal, and local partners.
