Key Information: Continuation funding is limited to Georgia agencies that received FY2025 VOCA awards.
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) administers Georgia’s VOCA victim assistance funding and oversees recipients’ fiscal and program performance. This competitive continuation opportunity supports direct services that address crime victims’ emotional, psychological, and physical needs, stabilize their lives after victimization, help them understand and participate in the criminal justice system, and restore safety and security.
FY2026 priorities include direct service personnel and contractors, grant administration personnel, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, short-term rental assistance, transportation, advocacy, counseling, and civil legal services. CJCC also prioritizes evidence-based or innovative, victim-centered, trauma-informed approaches, including Family Justice Centers and collaborative models. Awards aim to reach more victims, address unmet needs, strengthen coordinated responses, and provide equitable access to quality services statewide.
