    Description

The Community Foundation of East Mississippi administers this grant to support educational activities and charitable programs benefiting Clarke County. The Clarke County Foundation for Tomorrow was created by the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce to benefit students through their school systems, teachers, or staff, and to support 501(c)(3) organizations whose programs and activities benefit the county.

The educational focus is on supplementing classroom activities for children in one class or across a teacher’s classes. Requests may include supplies, books, or equipment that support those activities. The charitable focus extends to programs serving Clarke County beyond the classroom. The grant is part of the Community Foundation’s third competitive grant cycle.
