Description
This program funds projects that deliver clean energy technical training, career preparation, wraparound services, and job placement support to prepare new workers for entry-level clean energy careers in New York State. The initiative aims to build or expand training infrastructure and capacity, focusing on energy efficiency and building electrification, with additional support for renewable energy, energy storage, smart grid, and electric vehicle charging technologies. Training must be industry-driven, address business needs, and create an equitable, inclusive talent pipeline for the state’s clean energy sector.
