Description
The Clean Vessel Act (CVA) Grant, administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), supports marina projects that make pumpout equipment and services available to the public. The program combines infrastructure funding with support for ongoing operations and information that helps recreational boaters find and use pumpout facilities.
Eligible work includes permits, site preparation, renovation, equipment purchase and installation, equipment operations, maintenance and repair, sewage hauling, pumpout signage, and educational or instructional materials. Supported equipment includes portable pumpout carts, stationary systems, pumpout vessels, dump stations, lift stations, gallon meters, run-time counters, and holding tanks. Installation funding can also cover operator training.
