Description
The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department administers Clean Vessel Act grants using federal funds made available through the Clean Vessel Act of 1992. The program helps private marinas and local governments provide places in Texas where boat sewage and portable toilet waste can be emptied.
Grants support the installation, construction, and renovation of boat sewage pumpout stations, as well as the construction or renovation of portable toilet dump stations. Funding can also support operation and maintenance of these facilities after they are built or improved.
