Description
The Clean Vessel Act Funding program, managed by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources, provides federal support to public and private marinas throughout Kentucky for the construction, renovation, operation, and maintenance of sewage pumpout and portable dump stations. The goal is to reduce pollution from boat sewage discharges and protect Kentucky’s waterways. Eligible activities include infrastructure such as pumpout stations, holding tanks, piping, floating restrooms, and associated haulage and bleed-in facilities. The program does not support projects lacking public benefit, enforcement activities, or construction/maintenance of upland restroom or on-site sewage treatment facilities.
