Description
The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), administered by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), offers low-interest loans and grants to support municipal, nonprofit, and local government projects that improve water quality and safeguard public health. Eligible projects include wastewater infrastructure (collection systems, pumping stations, treatment facilities), stormwater management, watershed protection, nonpoint source pollution control, estuary management, planning, asset management, and projects addressing emerging contaminants such as PFAS. The program emphasizes affordability, technical assistance, and sustainability, with additional incentives for disadvantaged communities and planning initiatives. Technical support is provided throughout the project lifecycle, from application to construction oversight.
