Description
The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), within Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources, awards Certified Local Government (CLG) grants from the state’s Historic Preservation Fund allocation. The grants support eligible local activities that help document, preserve, and promote Wyoming’s heritage.
Past awards have funded surveys of historic buildings and rock art sites, preservation plans and property mapping, National Register nominations, architectural evaluations, and restoration. They have also supported interpretation of historic places and training for preservation boards and staff.
