Description
This program provides short-term, pilot funding for clinical and translational research projects that aim to improve health outcomes for Delawareans. The initiative supports both Regular and Community Engagement pilot projects, helping teams generate preliminary data and develop collaborations necessary for future independent external funding, particularly from the NIH. The program emphasizes bridging laboratory discoveries to patient care or community health and prioritizes projects addressing medically underserved populations and junior investigators.
