--- ## Description This grant is designed to foster the development of young and promising clinical research leaders in Denmark by providing substantial resources for early-career medical doctors aiming to combine clinical work with research. The focus is on supporting innovative clinical and translational research that directly benefits patients and advances human health. Projects may cover a broad range of topics, including disease mechanisms, treatment methods, epidemiology, diagnostic methods, public health, family medicine, intervention studies, register-based research, proof-of-concept studies, pilot projects, initial clinical trials, clinical testing, and biomedicine. --- ## Due Dates - January 28, 2026: Full application deadline (2:00pm Copenhagen time) --- ## Funding Amount - Individual grants of up to DKK 12,500,000 each for a 5-year project. - Minimum grant size: DKK 8,000,000. - Up to four grants will be awarded per cycle. - Total funding pool: DKK 50 million. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be medical doctors with a PhD or dr. med. degree. - Must be based at a Danish university, hospital, or other non-profit research institution. - Eligible applicants are either ready to start or are currently in medical specialist training.
